The Seastar from Tissot was created to be their modern divers watch and since its launch it has proved to be a popular line of watches. Produced in a 40mm 316L stainless steel case, this Seastar watch (T120.852.11.051.00) houses a black dial featuring Super-lumiNova on the markers and a handy date box at 6 o clock. The bezel of the watch takes the style of many ‘GMT’ watches with a split colour design, the striking green colour matches the GMT hand, which is an additional time zone function.
Fitted to the watch is a stainless-steel linked bracelet with a interchangeable quick release function and folding clasp with safety and push buttons.
As the watch is Swiss made it has a fully Swiss ETA quartz movement, this is when the battery in the watch sends an electrical current through very small quartz crystals, this then electrifies the crystals to create vibrations, these vibrations keep movement following and drives the motor to move the watch hands in a ticking motion.
