A new case size for 2023, the Seastar quartz is now available in a 40mm size. The Seastar from Tissot was created to be their modern divers watch and since its launch it has proved to be a popular line of watches. But with Tissot’s reputation for producing exceptional timepieces for great value, it’s no surprise that when they produce a watch with such good looks that it tends to sell well.
Protected by highly scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass is a black dial with contrasting hour markers and hands. A date window is positioned at 6 o’clock, framing the dial is a ceramic anti-clockwise rotating bezel. The indexes are also covered with Luminova which will glow in the dark and low light settings for increased readability.
Of the features, possibly the 300-meter water resistance is one most enticing to watch fans and divers. This ensures deep sea excursions are no issue for this watch, with no worries that the timepiece could become damaged from the high pressure below the water.
Stainless-steel predominantly makes up this timepiece, visible on the 40mm case, bracelet and crown. The crown is a screw down, ensuring water cannot enter the mechanism. The bracelet is made up of a 3-bar pattern of both polished and satin steel, this bracelet is adjustable to most gent’s wrist sizes and is secured with a deployment clasp.
Fitted with an ‘ETA’ Swiss Quartz movement the watch also comes with 2-year international warranty and official Tissot packaging.
