Founded by Nick and Giles English in 2002 Bremont finds itself within the top handful of chronometer manufacturers in the world. 2021 saw Bremont achieve its most ambitious year to date through opening The Wing, Bremonts Manufacturing and Technology Centre in the heart of Henley-on-Thames, England, and the launch of the brands ENG300 movement series.
For the first time Bremont introduces its own manufactured movement series into a new generation of core collection 40mm timepieces, proudly made in Britain. Following on from the success of the Limited-Edition Longitude in 2021, the ENG300 movement is rolling out into three new core models.
Introducing the Supernova, three years in the making the complex Supernova case has been nothing short of a pursuit of perfection. The 40mm stainless steel case is a contemporary timepiece fashioned in a new Trip-Tick case which has evolved the classic three-piece case construction somewhat through 9 key design revisions to achieve a crisp exquisitely finished aesthetic with beautiful curves and angles.
Protected by anti-reflective, scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass the pitch black dial features the classic Bremont raised central section, framed with a perimeter of concentric decoration lines. The nickel-plated Arabic numerals and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova with a blue emission for increased readability in low light settings. A power reserve indicator display is positioned at 6 o’clock with a date window at 3 o’clock.
Turning the watch over reveals an exhibition case back protected with sapphire crystal glass, the ENG375 calibre and decorated rotor can be viewed. With the added protection of Bremonts patented anti-shock movement mount this self-winding movement has an impressive 65-hour power-reserve.
Presented on an original tapered design stainless steel bracelet with a t-link construction – unique to Bremont. The beautifully contrasting brushed surfaces and polished facets, the structure is tailored to the wrist. The solid, angular stainless-steel links are highly durable and flow elegantly from case to the butterfly deployment clasp fastening which features the Bremont propeller icon.
Complete with a three-year international warranty and Bremont’s special watch packaging this timepiece is water resistant 100 meters. More Bremont timepieces can be viewed here.
